Snow

Through silent air, it drifts and falls,

A hushed descent on empty halls,

Blanketing fields in quiet grace,

A stillness pure, a tender trace.

No voice, no sound, just soft repose,

Each flake a star, each drift a rose,

It gathers gently, pale and deep,

Where world and sky in silence sleep.
